Kyle and I met on Friday, July 13, 2007 in Ocean City, MD - at Seacrets to be exact. He was with his friends walking by the side of the bar I was standing at with my friends, I commented on his Dropkick Murphy's t-shirt, he came over, bought me a beer, we talked briefly and he asked for my number. I was pleasantly surprised to get a text from him that Sunday. We text'd for months until we finally saw each other again in November. Our friends and family can recall our cell phones being attached to our hands texting each other constantly. But it was all worth it! I don't think in OCMD we realized how much of a driving distance there was between us, I'm from South Jersey and Kyle was going to school in Central Pa. But from that day on in November I traveled to good old Lock Haven University every weekend until Kyle graduated college in May of 2008. After that we were still a few hundred miles apart, but we continued our long-distance relationship and couldn't wait until the work week was over so we could see each other every weekend. In August 2009, Kyle got a job in South Jersey and moved in, we've been happily living together ever since.

And on July 4th, 2010 my wish came true when Kyle proposed to me on the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ during the fireworks!
